Terms of Use
Last updated: 21 April 2026
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of AEOps (the "Publication"), published at aeops.io. The Publication is operated from England, United Kingdom. By accessing the Publication, reading the weekly brief, or subscribing to updates, you agree to these Terms.
1. Editorial independence
AEOps is an independent research publication. The Publication publishes its findings regardless of which brands, tools, platforms, or individuals are named. No third party, including any past, current, or future employer, client, sponsor, or affiliate of the Publisher, has the right to review, approve, amend, delay, or suppress editorial content prior to publication.
2. Right to publish findings
The Publication reports on the behaviour of third-party AI systems and the citation patterns of third-party websites and tools. By publishing findings about any named party, the Publication does not claim endorsement by, affiliation with, or authorisation from that party. The Publication relies on fair dealing for the purposes of reporting current events and research under the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988.
Named parties do not have the right to pre-approve findings. Factual corrections are accepted where genuine error can be demonstrated; the Publication reserves the right to decide whether, when, and how to issue a correction.
3. Permitted quotation and attribution
You may quote up to 200 words of any single Publication post without prior permission, provided you include: (a) a clear attribution to "AEOps (aeops.io)", and (b) a direct hyperlink to the original post. Longer quotations, full-post reproduction, and derivative datasets require written permission.
Charts, tables, and derived datasets are the intellectual property of the Publisher and may not be reproduced without permission.
4. Subscription
The weekly brief is free. By subscribing, you provide a valid email address and consent to receive the weekly email. You may unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email, by contacting us, or by visiting aeops.io/unsubscribe with a valid link.
5. Intellectual property
All original text, analysis, commentary, derived datasets, charts, and aggregated statistics published by AEOps are the intellectual property of the Publisher. Underlying public web data and third-party AI output referenced in the Publication remain the property of their respective rightsholders; the Publication's use of such material is limited to reporting and research purposes.
6. No advice; no warranty
The Publication is a research publication. Nothing in the Publication is investment advice, legal advice, tax advice, or any other form of professional advice. The Publication presents observed data and commentary; you remain solely responsible for any decisions made in reliance on it.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Publication is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, or timeliness.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Publisher will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of the Publication, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be limited under English law.
8. Your conduct
You agree not to: (a) attempt to access administrative functions without authorisation; (b) scrape, bulk-download, or systematically reproduce Publication content beyond the permitted quotation limit; (c) use the Publication to train commercial models or derive commercial datasets without written permission; (d) use the Publication in a way that breaches applicable law.
9. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising from or in connection with these Terms or the Publication is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
We prefer to resolve disputes informally. Please contact us first at the email address below, and we will aim to respond within a reasonable period.
10. Changes to these Terms
The Publisher may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated on the site, and where appropriate via the weekly email, at least 14 days before the change takes effect. Continued use of the Publication after a change indicates acceptance of the updated Terms. Historical versions are available on request.
