About

An independent research publication on AI citation behaviour.

AEOps is the independent research publication of Pooj Morjaria. Operated under a UK Ltd company. The publication is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or authorised by any employer, client, or third party. No confidential third-party information appears in any AEOps content. Editorial independence is absolute — findings are published regardless of which brands, tools, or individuals they name.

The work is simple. Each week, AEOps runs a controlled set of buyer-intent prompts against the leading AI search engines, records what each engine cites, and publishes what the data shows: who gets cited most, what changes week to week, and where the engines agree or disagree. The methodology is consistent — same prompts, same engines, structured extraction from API response fields rather than scraped from prose. Full details on the methodology page.

The author is an independent AEO researcher. AEOps content reflects only the author's research on public data. It does not reflect the views, priorities, or confidential information of any past or current employer, client, or collaborator. No tool, vendor, or party pays to be in the dataset or to be featured in a post — the sponsor disclosure policy makes that explicit.

The publication is free. One weekly post. No paywall, no premium tier, no ads in the data. If that is useful to you, subscribe to the weekly brief.
